EDN China Mission
Since EDN China was
launched as the first magazine to focus on electronics design
for China 10 years ago, the country's electronics industry
has become more and more integrated with the global market.
To stay on the leading edge of the technologies around the
world and to design and develop competitive products for both
local and global market is now more critical to design engineers
and managers in China. Thus it is the core mission for EDN
China to help them with such a need.
EDN China now provides the design and application related
information through a variety of means including print magazine,
e-newsletter, website, seminar, direct mailing and special
event. The key technical areas we cover include power technology,
embedded system, consumer electronics, wireless design, test
& measurement as well as EDA and design service.
The design-focused, multi-sourced and staff-written editorial
style of EDN China is unique among all the publications that
try to reach the electronics design market in China. The articles
in EDN China are generated from EDN's global network as well
as key electronics marketplace in China from Beijing to Shanghai
and Shenzhen by our own staff writers and industry experts.
The magazine has won a loyal readership of more innovative-minded
engineers and managers across the country. This year the circulation
has also been increased to 35,000.
As the first and only publication in the country that has
consistently reported on the developments in China's electronics
design community, EDN China will improve the coverage with
more profiles of industry movers and shakers and opinions
from the community.
The publishing of EDN China combines the resources from three
key information providers - Reed Electronics Group, IDG and
China Electronics News of CCID. Leveraging the strength of
the three organizations, EDN China participates and endorses
over 30 industry events each year across China.
